On a personal note.

I was suprised when I have found by talking to other graphic artists that the staples in this industry, Quark express, Photoshop, Illustrator, ect.. were not being taught in many of the colleges or post graduate schools until as recently as 3 years ago and even then weren't on the newest Apple computers. The web design courses weren't even available and writing code is becoming a thing of the past with great programs like Dreamweaver. I am fortunate enough to have attended a real small (but growing) post graduate school called Mildred Elley. You can check them out at www.mildred-elley.edu . We have used daily, the latest Adobe cs2 suite along with the newest Quark Express and Macromedia suite. We were taught web design as a standard and include Maya and Flash into these courses. So even though my resume in graphic design isn't very big, ( I mostly fixed cars for the past ten years to pay the bills), I feel as though with a 3.8 grade point average, a lot of freelance experience, and post graduate school diploma in Graphic Design Technology, I'm a great choice for your design needs.
